March for Babies

Just a quick side-note. I have decided to walk in the March for Babies Walk for Premature Awareness sponsored by the March of Dimes. The walk will take place on Sunday April 26, 2009. I have thought about doing this for about 3 years and have never gone beyond "thinking". Well this is the year for me to do it. I plan to get my boys involved as well because they are the reason I am doing this. Why? Because Alexander was born 10 weeks early weighing 2 pounds and 10 ounces and Nickolas was born 14 weeks early weighing 1 pound and 1 ounce. So what better way to help out an organization who had a big "behind the scenes" effect on the survival of my two boys.
Wish me luck-it's a 3 mile walk!!!

Wonderful that you are taking on this challenge LaToya. I know you will do well - it is most certainly for a good cause. It is quite amazing that such tiny babies can be saved now.

LaToya - this is awesome news. I know you will do well because you have the inspiration of your boys beside you. This will not only be memorable for you but them as well. I have marked the date on my calendar so I will remember to say special prayers for you all on the day of this walk. Congratulations on making a wonderful decision.
